Armed Forces Personnel can attend the Birmingham v West Ham match on Saturday 6th November, ko 3pm, for only £1

Armed Forces personnel will be able to attend a forthcoming Blues league game for just £1 a ticket as the club salute the great work of the military.
Representatives from the army, navy and RAF can purchase the cheap tickets for the West Ham game at St. Andrew's on Saturday 6 November (kick-off 3pm).
That is the day when Blues really 'feel the force' as not only will the £1 tickets be applicable but it's also the club's designated day of support for the Royal British Legion's annual Poppy Appeal. Supporters attending the fixture will be able to buy poppies and contribute to a great cause - one that supports serving and ex-service personnel and their families.

To add further backing to the courageous work of the many men and women who fight for their country the West Ham fixture also marks the start of Blues' donation of 30 free tickets per home league game to the charity Tickets For Troops, which shows appreciation and support to the Armed Forces by securing tickets for sporting and entertainment events for military personnel.
Blues acting chairman Peter Pannu says: "Having an 'Armed Forces Day' at a Barclays Premier League football match highlights Birmingham City's backing of the military in the highest profile way.
"We are absolutely committed to supporting the brave and unstinting work of our service men and women on an ongoing basis.
"More importantly the £1 tickets - and 30 per match free in the case of Tickets For Troops - means that we can tangibly reward those courageous men and women for all their hard work by inviting them along to watch top flight football at St. Andrew's."
The £1 tickets will be available in the Kop stand at St. Andrew's and can be purchased in person from the ticket office or by calling 0844 557 1875, option 2.
Armed Forces personnel must produce, or quote, their military ID number when buying tickets.

Do you have any theatre tickets, although the acting isn't as good as on the football field at least you keep dry.

Preferably a theatre show which depicts grown men spitting, swearing and rolling around in the floor in agony, getting stretchered off after someone has trodden on their toe, before racing back on 30 seconds later and doing a 12 second 100 metre dash

Or alternatively a boxing type theatre performance where a grown man falls to the floor clutching his face, rolling over and over several times after the opponents carefully manicured fingernail has grazed his cheek (whilst keeping one eye carefully focused on the ref)

Either of the above would enable me to get the feel of a football match. Damn I miss the real footballers of yesteryear when the aim was to actually play football, not get the other guy sent off or win an oscar.
