I have a credit score of 999 impeccable I am a public sector worker and guess what all of a sudden, I can`t get even one 0% credit card acceptance.
Anyone else experience the same?

Your credit score has no bearing on whether a bank will lend you money.
You need to think about your salary, time at address, history of managing debt, existing debts ,etc ,etc.0 -

Perhaps they rejected your applications because you filled them in with an emboldened, enlarged typeface. Remember to obey instructions.0

Banks dont care so much who you work for. Instead how long, income debt levels and more important than anything history.0

Would it be wrong if they did?
Lending has to be on the basis of risk assessment. If a lender came to the view that local government employees are at an increased risk of losing their jobs, then I think they are entitled to take this factor into account.0 -

I would class it as calculating risk rather than discrimination if they were doing anything. Self employed people have been 'discriminated' against since credit began if that is the caseI'm going for my QuidCo £million!
