Paypal hacked

I did a BIN on eBay and went to pay but it wouldnt let me. Had an email from Paypal saying they believe that my account was used by a third party. I did all the stuff it told me to, change password, change secret question and they rang me with an automated message wanting my something-or-other code.

That was Monday and it still hasnt been sorted, how long does it usually take? I think the buyer is gona get annoyed with me and open a NPB! I have messaged them about it but they never messaged back.

Was the email to you by name and not "Dear Ebay/Paypal Customer"?

Previously I did get an e-mail saying a third party attempted to use my paypal account.

As it is I went directly to paypal and did everything you have just said and it was all up and running instantly.

Did you use a link on the e-mail or go directly to paypal?

The email said 'Dear Karl C******'

Opened Paypal in a different window.

They said it should take 3 days, dont remember if I did the 'tasks' on the 18th or 19th. Should be sorted either today or tomorrow.

All seems legit then, If I remember there was a list within paypal and things ticked as I did them, can you login now and see anything?
