Beware of Silcox coaches in Pembrokeshire.

Two weeks ago I bought and paid for two seats on their coach to Wednesday's football international in Cardiff and on the strength of this then bought two tickets for the match. Yesterday, two days before the match, I was told that they had not sold enough tickets and were cancelling the coach. They were not prepared to run a smaller coach or a mini bus but would refund payments.

What customer service. At no time was it stated that the service was subject to demand.

They are doing this all the time. Living out in the sticks, silcox feel they are doing us a service by offering all these outings, only to pull them at last minute.

I am aware of another coach company in Carms who kept repeatedly cancelling a friends trip and offering so much compensation that in the end, thy had thier money backa AND the trip at no cost (admitedly months late, but free is free!)

I have said this for many years, I feel that anything can happen west of red Roses and no-one takes any notice. the law or morality do not seem to apply here anymore.
