Help with auto-numbering in a table (MS Word)

Hi guys

I've googled and F1'd but got nowhere.

I've created a table in Word. I want my first column to be sequence number. I can, of course, just type the number in, but I want the numbers to automatically change if I add or delete a new row. I've highlighted the column and selected numbering.

It's worked. Sort out. Adding and deleting a row is not a problem but everything over ten only displays the first number. My first column therefore looks like this:

2
2

and so on.

Anyone know how to get both digits to appear?

    Couldn't just be that your column is too narrow to disply the full number could it?
    Looks like you are only seeing the first digit.

    in A2: 2
    in A3: 3

    then highlighting them all and clicking bottom right of A3 downwards should give all the numbers.
