I'm looking for a camera for myself, my budget is around £100 (maybe £150). I want one with a rechargeable battery and I'm not sure what it's called but when you press the button and it will take maybe 5 pictures quickly??? (what is this called) Can anyone reccomend me one, thanks.
This one looks good:

so does this one:

not sure what the difference is

Burst mode?

My gf has that one and is good value for money! Check flickr for picture quality using the "camera finder":exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -
That's it, burst mode. I checked on flickr couldn't find those two.0

Hmm it appears under another model type, but it's the same camera essentially!

First one has 5 x optical zoom, 2nd one has 8 x optical zoom.
They are both very good cameras and great value.0 -
I'm on an older Panasonic, the FX30, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Rapid fire shooting is called Burst Mode on the Panasonic.0 -
I've checked out which for you. The FS30 scores slightly higher than the FS11 (70% v 67%). Both have the burst facility.
In your price range the top 5 which.co.uk recommends are
1. Casio Exilim EX-H5 (75% satisfaction)
2. Canon Powershot SX120 IS (75%)
3. Canon Digital Ixus 110 IS (72%)
4. Canon PowerShot A470 (72%)
5. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS33 (72%)
All have the burst facility you want. If you already like the Lumix then the FS30 is probably your best bet unless you can find a FS33 in your price range. TBH, there's probably not much in it."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
I would take a look at the IXUS models also.
I am a huge fan of Panasonics' but at this level I don't think there is much in it.
However if I was in the market with circa £100 I would be hunting down a used Panasonic LX2.Not Again0 -
Back again, I still haven't chosen I am quite into this one now http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-IXUS-130-Digital-Camera/dp/B00375N4J4/ref=dp_ob_title_ce0
