I am not sure whether anyone can help me with this but I was aware that childcare vouchers are a not a cash benefit so continue to be paid when you are on maternity leave, however I decided to take some kit days at work and they said as it was classed I was earning they took the money out for the childcare vouchers, more than I was getting pad kit days. It this allowed or just unethical?

Its only SMP the vouchers cannot be deducted from therefore they have done nothing wrong.
I dont think the schemes will be around for much longer, many employers simply cannot take the cost.0
