Cheap holiday but peaceful - challenge!

Hi money savers,

I have a problem (a good problem I guess!). My bf and I have booked 2Nov - 8Nov off work and want to go somewhere sunny. It seems the only place we can afford is Gran Canaria (that will also be sunny) though my first choice is Egypt.

We would prefer all inclusive but understand this may not be possible. We can fly from anywhere in London. Ideally we would like as many of our 6 nights off work as possible to be on holiday, but even 3nights (min) or 4 nights would be good.

I really want to relax and we would ideally not be in a particularly family place. I'd like somewhere quietish - is this completely unrealistic for a package hol?

Ok here comes the crazy part - if it's not an AI hol, our budget is £200. If it is AI then £250. I can't find anywhere that looks half way decent for this cost. They all seem to be enormous hotels with loads of families.

Can anyone help? I'd be so grateful. I'm finding it very stressful looking for this!

When do you need to back in the UK (what date you back to work)

Egypt is out of the question on your budget you may get the Canary Islands

Thanks for the reply. Earliest we can fly is 2nd Nov. Latest we can return is 8th nov. We are both back to work on the 9th.

If we can get Egypt for £300 (I know still unlikely!!) we could stretch to that.

The end of half term holidays haven't quite finished and the winter flights haven't fully started yet for that week, limiting your choice.

The 9th-15th Nov would have more choice of flights.
