Hi, i am currently serving in the marines and i am leaving next year to return to uni to study nursing. I am 24 so will be 25 when i start to study, I also own my own home with my partner and i am looking into what financial help is available if any. I have not served 6 years so help via the forces is not an option. Any help would be appreciated.

you only need to have done 4 years to qualify for the enhanced learning credit. (1k a year). Worth a look.0

You will receive a bursary from the NHS, the amount will be based on household income. There is a website for further information http://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/Students.aspxProud to be dealing with my debts0

you will recieve a non-means tested bursary if you are studying for a diploma in nursing, and a student loan if you are doing the degree.
It's very straight forward to convert a diploma to degree whilst working full-time after completion of the diploma.0
