E.On FixOnline 6 vs. SaveOnline 3
I'm thinking of switching from FixOnline 6 to SaveOnline 3.
Does the pricing mentioned on the "Switch Your Product" page include the discounts mentioned or are the discount applied at the point of billing against the prices quoted.
Basically, SaveOnline has lower prices but Fixonline has a high discount and am not sure if the prices reflect the discounts mentioned or not?
Regards
James

Hi rincage,
The SaveOnline 3 doesn't have an online discount, this is incorporated in the unit prices.
Where as the FixOnline 6, has a higher unit cost, but as you can see this does have an online discount, this is then applied at the point of billing and can be seen on the bill.
You can always pop your kWh details in to one of the comparison sites to see how we stack up.

Bear in mind the difference between fixol6 and saveol3 is not that much in terms of cost, and unit rates are fixed with fixol6 until 1st april2011, whereas unit rate variable on saveol3, so if the price increase sites like this and other media commentary on gas and electric costs come true and energy co's do increase their prices at least on fixol8 until next spring your unit rate is guaranteed not to increase, saveonline 3 the unit rates would increase by whatever % eon went up by. I must streess I'm not syaing prices WILL go up, just pointing out the benefits against cost of the switch in tariff your considering0
