Roboform help

My free trial expired last month but it still let me use it if I just said no to buying it when the pop up came. But now the pop-up comes, I click 'No' but it doesnt fill in the forms.

Is this a problem with my computer or with Roboform?

Does anyone know how to get free Roboform or something like it that is unlimted?

Thanks

Yes Roboform 4.6.8 was the final free version and it still works nicely enough with IE 8, not tried it with IE 9. Having said that I purchased a version for the home business computer so impressed with it was I, but still use that old freebie (unlimited passwords) elsewhere.

Am I correct in thinking that the 3 products above all store the passwords on a remote server, in contrast to the way that Roboform keeps then physically only on the local computer?

Do they all cover the same functionality as Robo - pop up and ask if you wish it to remember a new password, then later auto fill it for you? Password Safe's home page for example, does not make it clear if compatible for this purpose with FF/IE etc.

I dont use lastpass so can't comment but would assume that it would since it too is integrated with the browser.

Password Safe and Keepass are seperate programs so no, however I believe Keepass has plugins that might do the same thing. Both as standard do have auto-type for username passwords.

Advantage is that Lastpass, Keepass and Password Safe and free and not limited to 10 passwords. Maybe none can compare so you need to make a choice pay for roboform or move to a free alternative.

So I think that the answer for OP will be to give the old (but still functional) free version of Roboform a try.

    As downloadable from here:
