Ring the customer service number and explain that you only expected to pay £30 for the wine and they'll refund the difference - they always do for me anyway! Say that you didn't look at the delivery note until the driver had left and you assumed the picker would just have chosen other wines in the deal as that's what you would have done

Just a warning for those ordering online, as with one of the comments above - Asda's stock levels aren't prepared for the amount of advertising they've put out. My shopping arrived on Sunday with only 1 out of 6 bottles delivered - not only that but they had the cheek to charge me the full price on the one they did bring (£8). I called Asda up and apparently they are supposed to honour the offer price because the others were out of stock and they didn't substitute them.

The thing that annoyed me out it was being told my online order was fulfilled at a warehouse - if a warehouse doesn't have 5 of the 6 different varieties offered, what hope will a shop fulfilled online order have?!

Suggest everyone gets this in store otherwise you'll be disappointed.

Hi everyone

Just thought I would say I don’t think it is just the wine that the stock is running low. I did an order with asda last week I got all the beer I ordered which was on offer but a lot of the food items were not in stock so I either got something totally random or I didn’t get anything at all. I have shopped with Asda before and the substitutions have been good when they have been out of stock but this time I just got something totally different (f I got anything).
Just a warning that your shopping may not be what you wanted.

I just heard back from Asda's customer service, and they've decided to refund me the difference between the price they charged (£42.47), and the promo price of the 9 bottles so that the cost is £30. They are then going to refund the 1 bottle that was not shipped - not sure why that was not substituted. In effect I got 8 bottles for £26 which is about £3.25 a bottle.

Happy again!
