Swiss current account but no Swiss address

Is this possible? I only live in Switzerland 5 months of the year so can't provide a full time address. Just looking for a cost effective way to make regular payments in Switzerland (shops restaurants etc), without having to use a UK credit or debit card.

You need to spend more time than that in Switzerland to save on the UK tax rate?
I will look into this slighty more one of the banks is quite good nd doesnt charge a fee. Obviously its not UBS.
At the moment I cant find my information.0 -

obviously you are using your citibank account which I presume is helpful.

can you let me know how the debit card works also (did someone say faster payments, no not Citi)
http://www.postfinance.ch/en.html has been mentioned a fair bit, talk to them. the fees look cheapest here. they should also be okay with you id, as long as you are an eu passport.
http://www.ubs.com/1/e/ubs_ch/private/individual.html they dont mind a work address then change back to the uk.
So post finance is worth a look to answer your question.0 -

Don't know if you earn enough to qualify but check your bank's offshore branches. They might be able to issue you with a debit/credit card in Swiss francs.0
