Heads up re Quoteline Direct

Whatever you do dont even consider Quoteline Direct. I took out a policy for a 7 day holiday to France and they were totally unresponsive. They even decined my cashback request via Quidco claiming that they had paid the referal fee elsewhere but Quidco can't say who. Based on my previous experience with them I suspect it's just a ruse to avoid paying me my cashback. Thankfully I didnt need to claim during my stay in France as they completely ignored my questions prior to me travelling. I dread to think what would have happened if I had needed to rely on them to help me and my family while I was in a foreign country. I must add that Quidco have been great and as I always use a different browser when buying anything via Quidco I am sure its Quoteline trying to avoid paying me my cashback. If they won't pay a legitimate claim they shouldn't be selling via cashback sites! Don't use these people.

I take it that you are relating to Travel Insurance ?

If so, then Quoteline do not offer a cashback on Quidco for Travel Insurance - they only offer cashback on Car, Household, Landlords and Van Insurance.

I to use Quidco and having taken out my car and home insurance out via Quoteline Direct through Quidco, I successfully obtained my cashback :j

It was for breakdown cover rather than insurance and Quidco were certainly offering cashback (at the time at least).

Quidco didn't decline because it wasn't a valid Quoteline product line but rather because Quoteline claimed to have paid to another referal agent which cannot be the case because I use a completely separate browser only for Quidco to avoid cookie issues.

Have you spoken to or communicated further with Quidco regarding this ? Or enquired to see if Quoteline Direct were ever including cashback on Breakdown Cover ?

I run a motoring related website and use the affiliate company which Quoteline Direct & Quidco both use - I have not seen Quoteline Direct offering breakdown policies as part of the affiliate scheme on this affiliate company and therefore will not display on Quidco.
