8 weeks ago i purchased a bmx bike for my son, which unfortunatly got stolen last week. A few friends have told me that i could possibly claim back the money from the credit card i used to pay for the bike. Is this true?

I think you need to read your T&Cs.0 -

Thankyou for your comments, they were very helpful. We have been in touch with our credit card company and they said we can receive a full refund on the money as it was taken out under 100 days ago.:money:0

Yes under the Credit 75 Act if item is more than £100 then you can get refund from credit card company for the full amount even if you only paid a deposit with credit or debit card8 weeks ago i purchased a bmx bike for my son, which unfortunatly got stolen last week. Correct me if im wrong but s75 ONLY covers breaches of contract, which theft of the goods is not.
The OP's claim was successful either via other protection provided or by some part of the CCA that i am unaware of.Back by no demand whatsoever.0
