RAC Pushy Salesman

In February I used my Tesco clubcard vouchers and bought my son a breakdown cover policy with the RAC. Last week someone from the RAC phoned up to speak to my son but he was not in. They phoned back a few days later and again he was not in. They phoned last night for the third time and spoke with my son. They wanted to sell him some kind of life assurance policy and my son told him that he was not interested. He is on an apprenticeship and does not earn much money but the man was very very pushy and would not take no for an answer. In the end, he told my son that he would phone back again today. We took the call this evening for him and said that he could not afford to purchase this policy and for them to stop phoning but he went onto the hard sell with my husband. In the end we had to get tough with him and insist that he did not phone up again.

Just a warning for anyone else who uses their clubcard vouchers to purchase the policy that you might get the hard sell with them.
