confused about my parking fine

There is a single yellow line down my road and all down the road, signs saying no parking monday to friday 9am to 5pm.
i got a ticket on the saturday at 8.30am, i appealed it and it was declined??? i have a permit and was not parked there during the hours on the sign! what made it worse was that the whole side was covered with parked cars and i was the only car with a ticket?? what am i doing wrong??
i dont think i should pay it, it says i need to wait for a second appeal, but i dont have time to go to court as i work 72hours a week.
has anyone else had this problem?

Well I dont understand it, I have looke at single line rules and i cant see youve done any thing wrong.
Does there happen to be another sign that says no parking on a weekend.
What did the ticket actually say.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

its the yellow sign that has the no parking sign with mon - fri 9am - 5pm?? i parked there all day last saturday and didnt get a ticket and didnt see a warden all day?0

the ticket say parked in a resticted zone during perscribed hours! i have permit on show like all the other cars, and was on the sat morning at about 8.30am0

If you parked on a SYL outside of the restricted times, why wdo you need a permit.?

Pics please of the pcn (both sides), signs and lines, and the letter of rejection would all be useful. Host on tinypic after removing personal details. Copy the url and post on here and remove the http:// bit. Also post on pepipoo.com for another slant on things.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

The next step is to wait for the "Notice to Owner" so you can take the matter to the adjudicator. Once you can prove that you didn't park during the "prescribed hours" then your appeal should be allowed as no contravention has occurred.
Give us the exact location of where you were parked so we can google it and advise further with reference to the signage.0
