Mexico Pacific coast- my friends had their honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta and loved it, California, Hawaii

personally wouldn't go to miami. Been there once and it was less than relaxing.
There are plenty of places drivable from Vegas on the Californian coast.
Otherwise I'd look at Florida gulf coast rather than Hawaii as it's "on the way home" :). Have done both and they're equally enjoyable.

San Diego (America's Finest City) - beautiful place, very clean and still plenty to do if you want to.

Personally i really cant see whats so great about San Diego.

Went once, stayed in the Gas Lamp district and found it very dull. Decided to give it another go this year, this time staying in Coronado and found that crap too.

Everyone seens to love San Diego, but having tried it twice i will never go back.

Now Indian Wells near Palm Springs is the place to go if you want to chill out.

Another vote for San Diego, the most beautiful city in the US. Beaches, Balboa Park, worlds finest zoo, vineyards a few miles inland, desert 40 miles away cannot think of a finer place to chill out after the craziness of Vegas. If you go to Florida you are flying nearly 3000 miles and through 3 time zones, California is one hour and no time zones away. If you are desperate to see Mexico you can see what you are missing by taking the trolley to the border 12 miles away, one look over the border and you will see why I would never set foot in that country again!

when i went to vegas it was the first part of a 3 stop tour after 5 days i was ready for some R&R had a week in oahu lovely place with some great beaches.A bit of a long flight from vegas 5.5 hours if i remeber correctly but is well worth it.

i certainly would not want to go to Miami i went there briefly in march and thought it was a bit of a dump populated by people who are way too far up their own @rses,but obviously that is my opinion so bound to get people replying to say it is wonderful etc.

I'm guessing it got the name from the climate.

Indian Wells. Love the place. Went there for a few days last month. R&R involved a round of golf each day. Perfect!

I would go with San Diego and if you have more cash Fly to Kauai it is much quieter than Oahu .US airways fly direct from Phoenix.
  • Caribbean coast of Mexico is absolutely wonderful.
