transfer balance to someone elses card?

Hello,
I have an outstanding balance on my credit card at 0%, but the interest will jump in a month or so.
I want to transfer to another low interest card, but I can't get one because I have a poor credit history.
I have a friend who is happy to get a 0% card, and allow me to transfer my balance over.
My question is - is it possible to transfer a balance over to someone elses card?
