Turbo Lister problems?

Anyone having problems with TL2 at the moment? I updated it today to
get new shop categories into it and all of a sudden, everything I try
to upload has an error message of:

Error :- Either your Description, Location or Checkout Instructions has
Java Script that is not allowed.

Quite apart from the dubious grammar - I'm pretty certain there's no
javascript in my listings, they've all been built with TL2, no manual
editing of the HTML at all.

Is it just me or has this happened to anyone else??

Thanks,
Caroline

I downloaded it a few months ago and it wouldn't work. It wouldn't come off my computer in the normal way and I had to get help from a fellow board member to get it off my machine, and this took over 4 hours.

I'm still using TL1 but had a problem with it a few weeks ago with after an Application download but again a fellow board member came to my rescue.

Check out the TL Help boards to see if your problem has been fixed

If you try Live Help and click on Turbo Lister you usually find the TL Department very helpful but make sure they realise where you are based.

  • I had this trouble too and it was my firewall that was stopping it uploading. Now when I'm uploading items I turn my firewall off for 5 mins. I know there is a way to get my firewall to allow me to do this without turning it off, haven't found time to try and figure it out.

  • Thanks everyone - no joy with online sources, but after spending the last hour testing a listing by stripping out one bit of formatting after another, I've solved it :):):)

In case anyone else has this problem - one bit of my new standard listing template read as follows:
If you receive a faulty item (for all my care, occasionally something gets squashed in the post), I will replace (stock permitting) or refund it - please get in touch.

TurboLister decided the bits in brackets were javascript....
