    Hi,
I have had numerous calls from Regency, probably for the last two years,
it does look luxurious, but i believe it is timeshare, so therefore am not interested........

a review from Oct 07 on tripadvisor
We have recently spent the first week of Oct 2007 at this site. We had been offered the week for 4 of us in a 2bedroomed, 2 storey apartment, we were assured it was NOT time share and we would only have to do a short tour of the site and then come back and tell our friends: 'they are a new complex and are hoping that we will return to UK, tell our friends and so the business will build'.... etc. We were also promised that there was no building work at all taking place near the compex.

On our first day the 'rep' arrived, to 'book us in' for our 'tour'.... 45mins? He laughed and announce it would take him most of the day! Monday arrived and we went for our breakfast along with other potential clients with the reps ( who all smoke a great deal! ), and then our rep proceeded to try and sell us a share in the complex and explain how its linked in to time share!!!. after just over four and a half hours and seeing were were not going to buy they then went on to try and get us to sign a CREDIT agreement (do not fall for it!): this was quickly slid back across the table at them. They even suggested that we had had a'£3000 holiday for £300', well dont ring people and offer it !!!! Eventually after not being able to answer some of our financial questions, and realising we were not buying the incredibly expensive one bedroomed apartment for £30,000+ for one week, the atmosphere changed and we were silently shown the way out! If you can put up with the timeshare pitch its worth it for the gain of the weeks break.

i have also jut received a similar call, i aked about it being a timeshare but he was adament it wasnt!

It probably isn't technically timeshare - but near enough for a layman not to be able to understand the difference. So technically he wasn't lying. In everyday language he was.
  • Hi all

if you get the chance, go and stay at the resort, For £249.00 for a week in 5* or 6* is a bargain. The pools great, the apartments are furnished to a really high standard and just wait till you see the bathrooms you won't want to go home. & that's without the sunshine, which is pretty much guaranteed all year round. The staff are friendly & very helpful.

So take a holiday and enjoy. You won't regret it unless you don't go.
