Hello
Does anyone know which Bldg Soc is offering a buy to let based on US interest rates. Something like a special offer for a few months of 2.99% followed by a US rate of 4.7% ?
Thanks

I think Scarborough Building Soc are doing a good deal at the minute attached to the US Libor - not sure if it's 2.99% though. Have a look on Charcoal - that's where I noticed it.0

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Leeds and Holbeck Building Society are offerign a US LIBORCOL mortgage at fixed rate of 2.99%, until 30 June 2005.
followed by;
Variable rate which is 1.15% above US 3 month LIBOR , currently 2.49%, until 30 June 2015, to give a current rate payable of 3.64%. The US 3 month LIBOR rate is reviewed on 1st April, 1st July, 1st October and 1st January. Any changes in this rate will only be reflected on these dates.
followed by;
Leeds & Holbeck Building Society's standard variable rate, currently 6.74%, for 139 months.0 -
Any advice please on my first buy to let mortgage, the best I can find so far is, 20% deposit, 5.29% variable first three years followed by 6.5% variable.
Any thoughts appreciated.

You need to look at the criteria as well, to make sure that the lender is OK with the property type and the rental incomeI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. trying to find the best product for remortgaging my btl property.
but most broker sites dont seem to have that as an option,
and it seems harder to use charcol etc now than it used to be
currently with coventry - on normal rate 5.41%
loan £97,000 ltv approx 70%
current rent approx £600.00
no redemption penalties any more
can i do better?
thanks0 -
Hi Jimbob
There are some cheaper rates out there, but it does depend on what you are looking for and for how long.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
