As above really...
Have an inkling that its on the cards - most policies ive found are effective after 90 days - to be on the safe side i'd ideally want one on 30 days...Any pointers anyone? Income protection seems to be the one to go for...
Also can you run 2 concurrently?
Thanks for your help guys:beer:

If you have an inkling its on the cards, its too late,
The forms will have questions on which relate to this.
If you said you had no idea you would be lying,
If it happens, they will check with your employer, hence no payout, wasted premiums, fraud.
You'll pay dearly if you want any king of insurance in the future.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
you clearly have no idea what im talking about -
There is no offical communication...just an undertone - and to be cautious i want to take action...and thought to ask advice here...
not to be advised i would face the electric chair or attempt to defraud...:wall:
anyways - ignoring your response - does anyone sensible have any pointers?:A0 -

You have an inkling, its enough and stop being such a drama quenn,
as well as a pompous git.
i said nothing about an electric chair.
and if you did go through with it you would be guilty of fraud.
No one else answered because your question had been answered.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Well double insurance is normaly a no no.
So if you can't insure double income on a single policy 2 policies won't work.
As for getiing a policy now you will have to consider how obvious the signs are.
public sector : not looking good.
other : any redundancies recently
Other way is to ask the insurer, you have to disclose anything you think will be a factor so tell them every thing(check the investor relations site) and if they accept the risk you should be covered0 -
Several of us at work have just taken out income protection policies with Barclays. I just typed 'Income protection' into Google, clicked on the Barclays link, then went through the online quote.
You have 30 days cancellation built in if you realise it doesn't suit you when you get the policy documents, I'm still waiting for my docs to arrive but I've seen the ones others have received (we've all asked for the same thing) and it all looks ok & one guy at work who used to work for Barclays reckons it's all good.
Hope this helps.
