Banks that have saftey deposit boxes

Hi,

I need some help here, I need to find a bank that has safety deposit boxes in local branches. Not having any luck on the phone to Mumbai unfortunatly.

I am in the wigan area but can travel a 10 mile radius. I bank with Barclays and my parents bank with RBS who are being took over by Santander we spoke to someone English from Santander who said they do not have saftey deposit boxes so i guess they are out of the question.

Any help appreciated

Easier to enquire at your local branch(es) for options rather than phone helpdesk via Mumbai.

Barclays, Lloyds and NatWest do them. Expect to pay £45-100/yr depending on branch, customer relationship etc

Note: think at most branches you need your own deposit box though.
