Yes, but they are free to bump you off their cheaper tariffs so that you can pay hundreds of pounds extra. Unfortunately this is unlikely - if you do moan they will cough up but all suppliers should really stop this nonsense - they should be fair to all their customers and stand firm and stop kowtowing to the bolshie.0

Have just spent the past hour or so checking out prices at different suppliers and considering switching. Before I add to my phone bill and start ringing EDF about getting my money back....does anyone know what happens to my in credit balance at EDF when I switch? I am aware that the companies do all the switching side of things but would I need to contact EDF seperately to get this money back during the process or will they automatically refund it during the switch?Overdrafts transferred to MBNA £953.40/£4279.80 Car insurance (on CC) £461.98/£751.98  Bank of mum and dad £1500/£5000Total debt repaid £2915.38/£10,031.78 (29%):T Owed [STRIKE]£10,031.78[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £7400[/STRIKE] £7116.40 Pay off as much as you can in 2011 challenge £1127.60/£40000

They should give it back to you automatically although some suppliers seem to take their time about it.0

You should get your credit fairly quickly via cheque or paid direct to your bank account.
If you don't get in after about 15 working days, worth giving them a call.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
