lost laptop wireless internet connection

main pc is wired to (bt) router and have a few laptops and netbooks wirelessly connected - they were all running xp pro until today. loaded win 7 home full edition onto main wired pc and now laptops/netbooks can't connect to internet wirelessly while main pc is on. all fine once main pc is switched off. bt haven't been able to help sofar. they said that if problem not sorted within 24 hrs they will send an engineer - 24 hrs is a long time
