Hi not sure if this is the right place to post.

But i am fuming. I spent £10 on costa bingo but before this i cancelled 2 cards i had on their system. And put my new one on as i no longer have access to the 2 others.

I won some cash not an awful lot but £47,51 so i withdrew it. They have put the money into an old account and i have no access as its my ex hubbys account and we barely grunt at each other apart from when he gets the kids.

I rang costa and asked why they had not put the money back onto the card i deposited with and there excuse was we use the card you use the most HELLLLLOOOOO i cancelled the bloody card!!!!

They now refuse to help me further and i am £47.51 down that i was going to use for christmas, i don't play online gambling very often and wont be doing again.

Is there anything i can do to get the money from them?

you need to read the terms and conditions of withdrawl
secondly contact your ex hubby and get moeny of him

As i stated before hubby would not hand it over.

i cancelled the card it was no longer on their system so therefore it should not have been withdrawn onto that card.

Also t& c gives no mention about it.

Ok, calm down. I understand the point.

I assume the card you are on about are the 'debit cards' used to pay for the bingo cards?

1 Which card was used to purchase the bingo tickets?
2 When did you cancel the card?

This may assist, because as far as my gambling site goes, the winnings go on the card that purchased the ticket, you cannot change the card without a full withdrawal of funds

yeah same here, i use virgin too, and they will only withdraw to the card used.

its just annoyed me cos i know its not alot of money but i was putting it away. lol it was the first time i had done this in months.

i cancelled the card a few hours before my win. yeah it was the debit card of a totally different bank..
i used the new card to purchase my tickets

Ah, so you cancelled the card, put a new one on and then purchased the tickets and won.

In that case, the winnings should have been put on the new card.

Yeah thats what i said to them. I told them it was not fair, but they have still refused to help me, Do you think there is anything i can do xx
