sites that only publish positive reviews (restaurant-guide.com)

just so people know, 'restaurant-guide.com' is not a trustworthy source of info on restaurants, as they didn't publish my negative but well-reasoned review of a restaurant.

How long since you submitted it? I know some sites either check posts before they go live to ensure that they are genuine, or allow the business a chance to contact the customer to resolve the issue first, so it may be that they don't appear on the site immediately.

How do you resolve the issue from a bad experience at a restaurant? Do they have a time machine?

Now we wouldn't want restaurant review to lose a paid advertiser due to a bad review would we? Too many of these so called review sites are nothing but advertising platforms. Another I have seen concerned a campsite review forum/site, however another forum I frequent decided to 4chan them lol

I submitted it on 1st August.

It was published by Tripadvisor no problems.

    l

By contacting the customer and offering them a remedy - free meal etc. No time machine required...
  • I had a similar experience with Top Table. They would happily publish poor reviews of other restaurants but if it was one of the restaurants where you were able to use your toptable points to redeem a meal they wouldn't hear a bad word said. I don't use it anymore.
