I accidently uninstalled it and now the computer won't recognize my Kodak Zx1. Is there any way I can re-install it. I googled it and thought i'd found how to do it, but it didn't work.

Would I get it back if I restore my computer to an earlier date? Can anyone help please?0

The software is supposed to be pre-loaded on the camera itself- try it without a card in it. You can simply use a cheap USB SD card reader ,from poundland!, to load video onto pc.
edit - heres the kodak firmware which I guess includes the software that should be on zx1.

spakkker - I tried everything I could think of and I couldn't get it back. Then I got your reply and took the card out as you suggested, plugged it into the USB on the computer, turned it on and I couldn't believe it when it downloaded the software straight away. It was so simple! I can't thank you enough for your help.0
