Belkin Wireless Adapter Died

Hi

My wireless adapter was working fine, until the other day when it just seems to have died. There is a wee light on it which comes on when the pc is turned on, but the last few times I've turned on the pc, there has been no light or anything from the adapter and it can't connect to the router.

The adapter is a Belkin wireless G MIMO. I tried plugging it into my work pc but there's still no light. Could anyone advise if they sometimes just die, and if so should I get a adapter card and install in inside my machine rather than going for an external USB one?

Thanks for any advice

They do die, yes, age of adapter?? usb external/card makes no difference to me - some prefer the convenience of a card. try ringing up Belkin -- they do actually have decent support and often replace free of charge -- two of my colleagues has their routers replaced free /

I contacted Belkin tech support, got a reply the next day which suggested I update my driver. How do I do that if my wireless adapter won't work?!

But I can't connect my home pc to the internet (I'm on here in work!), so do I need to download the driver in work to a memory stick then upload it at home?

    Thanks
