Fuerteventura Holiday: Jandia Or Costa Caleta?

That is a hotel that I really do like, It seems to have a good location and facilities etc but I can't decide if its worth £190 more than a 3 star hotel up the road or even a 3 star in Corralejo.

That is a nice hotel and, if you like beaches, in a fantastic location. It is, or was, a bit out of the way and a hire car would be a good idea.

My holiday plans (thanks to Thomas Cooks crazy price fluctuations) have changed and too cut a long story short, I'm now going to Gran Canaria.

It would be great to hear about Jandia though, as at the moment I am looking for a 2011 Holiday ad would probably prefer to go back to the Canaries (If I could convince my other half we don't need to go to Egypt or Turkey)

im leaving on sun morning, Im at the stella jandia- I booked for the reason it has its own zoo and you wake up with peacocks on your balcony-oh will be terrified:rotfl:
Its my daughters fault, she keeps petbirds so i fancied walking about and seeing the wild parrots etc, and the beach looks good for long wanders (apart from the german nudists:eek:)
I can be spotted by the joyfull expression on my face accompanied by a sulky looking black man sporting a white hat (sulking because he has no xbox, laptop..and hes using his legs):D

You'll probably be deaf too. We have a couple that wander around the village.

You should hear the racket they make!

Im used to bird noise-i have 4 lovebirds in the front room and a cockatiel that thinks hes a lovebird-if i get off the bus across the road i can hear them across the street:eek:

I stayed in Jandia Princess too, nice but resort was dead! Not too keen on seeing the collywobbles out on the beach (old nudists) ugh
