Walnut glut

I went to a market in Hungary and bought rather too many walnuts (cos I didn;t know how to ask her to take some out!)

Any ideas what I can do with them? I'm actually not that keen on nuts :o so wouldn't want them in a cake.

Am I consigned to nibbling them on their own?

I like the ice cream idea, and covering them in chocolate sounds good too.
    Thanks

Store them in the freezer, as nuts go off quickly. That way you can preserve them while you decide what to do with them.

Am sitting eating them now! They are so tasty - organic and fresh, although I think I shouldn;t have brought them into the country  Got them on a market in hungary.

My Mum and Dad pickle them [my Nana had a walnut tree in her garden] and they are yummy scrummy in my tummy. No idea how mind you but some Old Styler with far greater wisdom than me will no doubt know:D
