  • Depends what you want to do with your computer?

Sounds like good spec and since your old computer is fine but alittle slow due to memory, the extra processor (dual core) and the 3GB DDR2 should be more than enough for you. The only thing i would do if you are into gaming is to look at a better graphic card.

However i think the total price you will pay for this system is heading to £650. I would personally save the money in one go, use your current computer and buy a much decent laptop. I havent checked the price of today's laptops but i am alsmost certain you can get further for much less if you shop around online. All the best!

auch thats expensive paying by the installments will cost you £647.64 over the 3 years for a laptop (cant find the exact model) http://www.dabs.com/products/hp-compaq-presario-cq56-111sa---p-2-3-ghz---hdd-320-gb---wlan---15-6--widescreen-tft---wxga---7650.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product+search which only costs ~£400

to buy that linked laptop on a credit card at roughly 20% apr would only take you roughly 2 years to pay off and only cost you roughly £500 overall

quick edit, the deal you are being offered although includes a security suite (which can be gotten for free) and the 'extended warrenty' (which on the website i found the above laptop only costs an extra £90) still appears to be quite expensive and this is without even looking for potentially better laptops
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

Cheers for that. hadn't actually done the maths so will give this a miss and buy a cheaper one outright.
