    Is it a valid code?
I found I had one still in there from before, a 10% one but it was no longer valid.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.
  • Sorry to be a little of topic, but on the points nights, can I pay with points and receive the 1200 points on a £50 spend or do I need to pay by cash/card to get them?

Never tried before, but then again - I never had the points before :rotfl:

That happened to me the other day, you need to add the code after you added the items, try removing the code and then reapplying on your full basket. HTH

  • Perhaps when your logged in, clear your basket and remove the code, logout, clear your history and cookies. Then log back into your boots account, add items then try the code again, make sure the green box comes up to say code accepted in case its a problem with the code. Hope it works.

  • Advice please - I'm not a Boots expert. I wasn't going to get the Sanctuary set, but then I saw it in the flesh for the first time today - & the 1,000 points for £50 spend in store. And it looks so lovely ... and I had some points vouchers they'd kindly sent me. SO - I got the Sanctuary set to add to the Xmas pressies stash, spent £30 on phone top-ups and £1 extra to make £50.

I got the 1,000 points for £50 spend, and my receipt says ' you have used your coupon and qualified for double points' - BUT I only got 1,200 points. Shouldn't I have got 1,400? And, if so, is there anything I can do about this?

You don't earn points when you pay with points unfortunately.

The offer is really only 800 bonus points as the 1000 points advertised is made up of your normal 200 points on a £50 spend and then 800 bonus points. So you got your normal 200 points doubled and then 800 bonus ones giving you a total of 1200 iyswim.

On the xmas shopping evenings the offer is different, you get your normal 200 points and then 1000 bonus points on top of that. If you had done that transaction then you would have got the 1400 points. Although the sanctuary set would probably have all sold out by then so don't think you have missed out by not waiting if you really wanted the set.
