Hi
I put in a new claim joint claim, It worried me after reading loads of posts on here about the huge delay in receiving first payment.
Tax credits received my form back 3 weeks ago and i still have no payment, Iv phone every day for an update to be told its processing and phone back in a few days for an update, They have told me there is no problems with application every time. Today i phoned to be told it went live yesterday on there systems, and the computers are now working out payments and that if i phoned back in a few days they will have payment info. So does that mean that the application has passed all processing stages and it will now award payment??
Yes im very over paranoid after reading thread after thread on here about people waiting weeks and weeks,
Thanks for any one that can settle my mind!

  • hi this means they're working out what your entitled to hun:) I put my claim in 4 weeks ago tomorrow, first joint claim too- and phoned last week to be told it was processing, and then phoned today and was given a date of payment (Thursday) and how much Im getting in the first payment :)
Some [people only wit a week some have to wait a few weeks, its SO annoying isnt it, especially with a little one to look after and no money!!! Ive been borrowing from my mum for 4 weeks!

If you phone in I'd say 3 days, you'll be told how much your going to get...u might even find you receive payment before you phone them back! They told me Id probs get a payment before my award notice as the notice is sent 2nd class!

    :) xxx
