I opened the 3 lloyds vantage accounts last month, the advisor setup the standing order for me last month and said that to leave it for a few days before the £1000 leaves for the second account because if I set them all up on the same day to bounce to the next account the system will not register the £1000 therefore not getting the 4%.
How long does everyone leave the £1000 before transferring the second lot because I like that its all done automatically so i dont have to do anything at all, but whilst this happens one of the accounts is over the £7000 and not earning 4% :0(

I do them straight after the other, between in all the accounts in no more than a minute and no trouble:jWar does not determine who is right - only who is left.0

That's simply not true ! I've had 7 accounts since near conception going back 18-24 months and have manually transferred my £1K between the accounts in seconds and have been paid every penny of interest I've been due without fail.0 -
It doesn't have to be there for days, not even for a whole day. Also, just to clarify - you are earning 4% on the £7k, but not on the additional £1k.0

You can do all the standing orders on the same day, but make sure its on or after the 5th of the month. Since it must be after the first working day of the month. Otherwise you end up paying in £2000 in one "month" and none in the next. Since the "months" run from 1st working day of calendar month to the 1st working day of the next calendar month or something like that.0
