Useful Information?: BarclayCard

I recently got a letter in the post through from Barclays regarding a change to my T&Cs of my barclaycard.

In it, they stated that they are reversing the way payments are made. Instead of paying of the cheapest stuff first. All payments will now pay of the item with the most interest. Is this industry wide? or is it just barclays? The way i see it it is a massive improvement :)

this is industry wide. It was annonced some time ago and the banks are now informing everyone. So expect letters from every credit card company that you have.

I think barclays is one of the last to 'inform' their customers
