I think starclen has a mild beaching agent in it and stardrops doesn't.

STARCLENS has ammonia in it and cuts through grease (according to the bottle )so is ideal for hard washable surfaces in the kitchen/bathroom etc. It makes no mention of using on carpets/uphostery which the STARDROPS bottle does

    Hi lynzpower,

I use starclens on everything. Its a little bit stronger than stardrops, but can be used in exactly the same way.

Its great on soap-scum in bathrooms and on shower screens....and a whole host of other things.

Stardrops can be used for anything !!! There is a whole thread on it called "stardrops and a microfibre cloth"

    Lyn

For my shower which went brown with hard water - I used half and half white vinegar and hot water in a squirty bottle - it was fantastic - especially if you use a microfibre cloth!

the home bargains near me sells them - it is about the only place i can find that does. and i use then for everything! (i put some in my washnig machine, i put a squirt in with my washing up liquid and it goes much further and gets things cleaner. I clean the windows, carpet, taps and worksurfaces, mop the floor. I don't buy anything else at all for cleaning now apart from (cheap tesco) loo cleaner (I also have starclen for my bathroon - but i imagine stardrops would still be ok for this)
