Is this the LHA rate? You can find out your LHA rate and bedroom rate using - https://lha-direct.voa.gov.uk/Secure/LHARateSearch.aspx?SearchType=PostCode
When you say tax credits, do you mean child or working? If your income changes, and you still meet the criteria, then you should get more.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

my partner gets both working and child tax credit.
we are low income and partner is on maternity leave get statoury maternity pay
we get some rent payed and council tax help
but was told that because you get esa or dla you get extra reward from hb and ctb which means they cover more of rent etc0 -
i just did a calculation with direct gov with benefit advisor.
it say i will get all my rent payed and council tax, and it also says i will get the assesment rate of esa aswell.
but i was under the impression that if my partner is getting maternity pay i would not recive any payments of esa only stamp and also extra on rent etc
is this correct or not?0 -
How much is the maternity pay? Do you either of you receive DLA? Is your ESA income or contributions based?Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
