Self Select Share ISA

I'm so out of the market I have no idea who offers a share ISA I can buy some shares of my own choosing to put into it. I suppose most stockbrokers will, but who has the lowest or lowish charges, or putting it the other way round, who are the pricey ones to avoid

For info: Interactive Investor don't charge fees for a self select ISA. It's no more expensive to keep the shares there than in their normal dealing account.

I've recently had a bad experience with Hargreaves Lansdown share ISA service (cue dozens of 'independant' defenders of HL!) and as a result found T D Waterhouse don't charge management fees for accounts greater than £5100. DYOR.
