My partner saw, a pc in gthe paper at the wk/end that he wanted,when he logged on to dell last night it was not there.
the thing is both of us have not much idea about comps so could do with a lot of help.
He needs one that he can surf the net, do some paper work on every now and again, he dont need it for games but said he would like to be able to watch tv as well ? so can anybody point anything out for him plus he would like it to be fast.

If thats all you need I would get the cheapest one you can find on the dell site, assuming it has 512mb RAM you will find everything else pleanty fast enough.

I bet it's the Dell 3100. Go to Dell Desktops to see it. Don't think that it's the cheapest/best available though. Always research other sites to see what is on offer before taking any recommendation.
edit The TV tuner cards are quite expensive from Dell. He may be advised to buy one independently if he really wants one.0 -
