Internet on laptop freezing..

Hi,
Not sure if anyone can help but my internet on my Dell Laptop always comes up with "no responding" and freezes when charging. I then have to shut laptop down.
Works perfectly when not charging. REALLY annoying!!!! Basically I can only use it when not charging so thats about an hour!

How old is the laptop/battery?? Let the battery run down entirely (remove it for 24/48hrs) and then reinsert /0
