Are you still working out when your DFD will be depending on the payments you make each month? Would imagine you must be at November 2012 by now?

Still the loan - will be nice to see the back of that, they've had their £140 min payment every month from me for what feels like years! (Probably is )

My Dec 2012 monthly target is £130 (with my monthly targets £1,060 a month from now on) soooooo close to being able to make it to Nov 2012.

£100 - wow! Congrats on that payment. Do you hate paying it or do you see it as "has to be done" and don't think about it.

I tried to overpay my loan using a SO to the loan account but it hasn't works - tried with £1.18 first thankfully - means now when I want to overpay I have to call though and it's a faff on finding spare private room at work etc

DF, that must be such a pain to have to call every time. Have you asked them if it should be possible to do an SO?

I try not to think about it too often otherwise then I hate paying it! It gets me down sometimes to work all these hours and then pay it straight off something rather than having fun with it. I just try to remind myself that I had fun spending the money at the time so now this is something that I have to do. Failing that, sometimes I have a little cry (sad I know! ) and then back to it

Next year will be my final year in debt after nearly 10 years of being in various levels of it

Ah bec :-( hope you don't cry as often now what's a wee 12 months it's the length of time from a holiday booking towards boarding time... Lets change the mindset that's £6 towards the cruise sailing out anytime between Oct -dec ... Sounds fun I might try it :-) dentist today the joys :-( xx have a fun day all xxx

It's not too often - normally just after working too many hours after a good sleep it's always better OH gives good cuddles for it too

dentist was fun :)hehe back next month for checkup with the dentist himself today was hygiene clean eugh ! feel better like but still hehe yes £6 to freedom i call it negative wealth now since reading firewalkers thread it sounds more positive than the d word imagine what future your building for yourself look at the potential in you to be vigilant when im free of mine il be saving some and moving and then ing il be splitting the money, obviously it will pay towards mortgage then on nice getaways and il never have negative wealth again il keep a credit card for insurance purposes BUT this right here has been all the lesson i need and what i have learned i willl pass through my children when i have them it will be save and spend not spend and pay later ...... xx
