Windows Media Player 11

Hi I want to download the above how do I know if I have a 32bit or 64 bit laprop, the instructions Windows are giving say to look in the control panel under systems however it does not say in there only service pack 1

Fire Fox from the link you posted it looks like 32 bit do I have to remove the current wmp to download wmp 11 or will it update the current one.
