Quick question

I have been made redundant wef last Friday. I have seen a copy of a letter confirming this. In it, it states "Upon termination, you are entitled to receive the following:" and then goes on to detail PILON, Redundancy pay & holiday pay. It says my 'P.45 will follow shortly'.
My question is that nowhere in the letter does it say when I will be getting the settlement. (there was no cheque enclosed.) After checking,I find the plan is to do it in the pay run at the end of the month. Now - can they do this? Keep my money for another 2 weeks? Before I raise my blood pressure and wade in, I just need to check. At the moment, I need to be picking my battles!!
Thanks in advance.

  • Yes they probably can and by the time you have argued it will be that time any way. Also remember you may need a reference
