I have booked 2 tickets from lastminute for Priscilla they seemed excellent value at £10.00 each + booking fee, however I didn't see until now that Balcony seats are steep and high!
Not so good for elderly relations!
Has anyone ever booked and managed to change their tickets at the booking office? As they have to collect them there.
I can't cancel them as I'd get no refund from lastminute, its for thursdays show! heeeelllpppp

If theres seats available youll be able to change them if you complain, however you'll have to pay the additional £40 for the price of the ticket.0

Hi loveabargin,
The balcony at the Palace Theatre is quiet high and steep, but the show is very visual and a lot happens in the air, so it is better to be higher up. I generally think that at most theatres you can upgrade your seat on payment of the difference in price, (this happened to me once at Joseph at the Adelphi theatre, which is owned by the same company that owns the Palace Theatre, where I had bought a £15 ticket in the upper circle, and could have paid an additional amount to sit in the stalls). There are quite a few steps up to the balcony.
Can your elderly relatives mangage steps ok? If not and they have a disability they may qualify for the disabled access rate for this show and can then sit in the top price seats for £25.75 plus booking fee.
Also are they going to the matinee or evening? There is a possibility if its matinee that they might be upgraded if its quite. I have not been to a Thursday matinee, so cant comment on that..
I hope they enjoy the show and hope this helps.

Hi Honeymonster,
It is for thursday matinee, they can manage steps ok slowly!
Its meant to be an enjoyable cheap day out and if they have to spend an extra £40 to change then it may not be such a cheap day. I will get them to ask when they collect the tickets.
Many thanks!0
