US is behind us by a few hours (depending upon exact location)

  • Soo I think you have been more than patient here, I was put out this week at a seller inofmring me that he had taken 2 weeks to post my item as "he's a very busy man". If we pay promptly then it is not unreasonable at all to expect that our item be sent in a reasonable time frame. One month is absurd. I'd leave the paypal dispute open, and let the seller do what she decides.

Thank you everyone. She didn't respond again after I told her I would not stop the dispute and I was just wondering what she meant by 'sending today' hence my question of whether we are in front or behind the US time wise.

I'll probably give it another 24 hours or so and see if she comes back to say that she's refunding or has despatched. If she does not respond then I'll probably escalate the dispute to a chargeback.

    Thanks for all the help.

I think you should start a chargeback. 6 weeks is long enough to wait. Don't leave feedback until she does.

hi, soo sorry to hear about this! I always have problems with these people(americans!!) I have sold an item for £35 and someone from america is saying they haven't received it! when they have but know I haven't sent it recorded!

Anyway when I purchased some hand craft items from someone in america they 2 stole my money! it was disney princess cushions and wall hangings I hope it isn't the same person! she kept putting me off with saying that it was being shipped etc.....

If she has good feedback generally and you wanna save your account ask her if she will remove the neg and you will to! I know this probably isn't moral because she deserves it but it saves your account!!

Just a final update. I escalated the claim to a chargeback last night and had an almost immediate refund (so much for never being online..every time I do something she didn't like she responds in minutes!). She just says she was planning to send the item, but is refunding me just to be shot of me now as I obviously have a different agenda?

She obviously still feels it is OK to wait over a month before even thinking of depatching item, I just can't understand sellers like that.

    Oh well, it's done now.
