Ok so I am a member of the RAF and was away all throughout the summer holidays, before I went away had taken darling wife shopping we went into Monsoon in Lincoln, and she saw a dress she liked, got the matching shoes and all other bits and bobs. Tried it all on looked stunning.

Then problems, I end up going away earlier than planned dress didnt get worn. I get back recently to find dress still in wardrobe with tags on, wife upset as she has now lost too much weight and dress doesnt fit her.

I called Monsoon today, they will happily take the dress back and exchange it for the smaller size, despite this being nearly 4months on from when I brought it, I dont have the receipt either.

I dont get to treat my wife that much to nice stuff, but when I do I always take her into Monsoon and get her a nice dress (yes they are expensive, but they do last) and have always found the staff nice and friendly, and they dont come across as the "give us your money" kind of staff that I find in other shops.

So if only the wife could get a job with them and get a staff discount it would make life easier as the way she is losing weight I will have to go back before long lol. From size 22 in Jan this year down to a 14 now. Kids are great lol

Monsoon I would buy out of occasionally, and yes, it is expensive, but lasts. Their customer service in my local branch is excellent.

Congratulaitons to your wife. I always find Monsoon's customer service fantastic. Yes they are expensive but in my opinion worth it and always make a good few quid back on them when re-selling on Ebay .

I did all the phoning and even went into the store, she was too embarrassed lol and was just gonna write it off as a loss on ebay.

But hey ho, us blokes never get anywhere lol

well done to you r wife for losing all that weight.

Big well done to you for thinking of your wife and treating her to something pretty and cheering her up even more by making it even more special after she lost weight!
