British Gas Tariffs
Good morning all,
Apart from checking against the meter readings I rarely take much notice of my utility bills however i received my latest British Gas bill this morning and noticed that they have me on a tariff called essentials. I was under the impression that this was for people in receipt of benefits, of which I am not. I have never spoken to anyone at BG regarding my tariff apart from telling them many years ago that I was the new property owner etc etc. I pay cash quarterly by the way. I don't want to inform them of this, but my question is could I be chased in the future for any monies.

I cannot answer about paying back but feel that you should call them to get advice if you should be on it ( in my personal opinion this will not be requested). A few years ago all you needed to get on the tariff was any benefit. This has now changed so I'm sure your honesty would be appreciated.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0
