Hi All
My dh uncle has died and I am arranging flowers this morning. I really cant think of an appropriate message to put on the card accompanying the flowers.
Any suggestions??

Fond memories
A great loss
With love now & always
Taken too soon but never forgotton
Happy memories never leave us
We'll think of you
Obviously a bit bland, you would need to personalize the sentiment but might help as a starting point?

When my Grandpa died earlier this year, the flowers that my mum had done just said "Clare, Michael, VickyA and Charles" (ie my mum, dad, me and my bro). Then again, the only other flowers were from Grandpa's little sister (who is 89 ), who he fought with throughout their years, so it was important to differentiate between the two .Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0

Have a look through the family notices in the deaths part of your local paper, people have some lovely short poems there that I'm sure you could get ideas from.
My nan died last week and her notice went up in paper yesterday, and I noticed how lovely some of the other poems etc were.0 -
To us you were very dear, all the memories that we shared, will be remembered with such fondness, even though gone, you are not forgotten, always in our hearts.
Something along those lines maybe?
Been racking my brains and looking for the verse that we put on mum's flowers, so nice, but can't find it.
My thoughts are with you and family. If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.
